I thought the trailer looked bad, so I wasn’t going to worry about it for a while to see what people said about it, but my wife is a huge Dragon Age Inquisition fan. She wanted it on release day. After seeing it for two days now, it’s waaaay better than that trailer looked. If she ever lets go of the controller, I’m anxious to create my character and play it too. It does build slowly, taking its time to do a lot of story and tutorial stuff first, but it seems to be picking up the pace more and more as you progress. My main concern was how dark and muddy that trailer looked, but that’s just the opening sequence, and after that, you end up out in bright lights and clear, detailed graphics. I was quite relieved to see that.
