Calling time stranger the best doesn't tell much. The graphics are great, the roster is one of the best/largest ever, but it has a lot of flaws as well (good story ideas but poorly executed and not properly wrapped up, silly/dumb dialogues, repetitive automatic combat, borrowed from too many tropes without creating a proper identity, good looking but very small dungeons, a bit over the top on depiction of "waifus" considering it's a kids game, etc).

The same can probably be said about all Digimon games. All have a list of pros and cons, it's like bandai could never build a proper well rounded development team. I played almost all of them and none feels like a masterpiece, all having some annoying aspects.
