It's funny as I'm in my 40s a lot of my friends aren't gamers. It was something kids did and not adults but as the times changed I was a fortunate kid to have a computer in the 80s and fall in love with all of it.

My friends that do play games are not good and they know it but when they play the doom games they all laugh at the "I'm too young to die" difficulty as it suits them and they knew exactly what setting to pick. For us gamers these settings when not the obvious easy, hard, etc are not something hard to figure out, but to people that are not good at games and don't play a lot it can be confusing. Doom was never confusing or insulting and no one would find them to be so the way they were.

They better have this patched and fixed by release because they don't want a fight that they don't deserve when people might see this as a bowing down to a certain group or what might be perceived as "The Modern Audience" 😂
