Considering items, gold, and enemies don't respawn in Avowed and there is no new game plus, and bounties seem to not respawn either, you can't respec your character forever. You can't just go get gold so if you spend it all it's gone forever. You can't just go buy whatever you want from the shops because gold is finite.
