It's just a matter of how they implement it so it's not infringing on Kamijou Touma's power... And what else gets broken or unsealed that was unknowingly altered out of reality already by the Otsutsuki of the past that may come back when Omnipotence starts being unwound.

The junctioning system is deceptively tied pretty deeply into the FF8 story. When you realize that it was Dr Odine that discovered GFs and how to junction them to people after working with the Sorceress Adel and experiments with Ellone, going forward to the monsters Ultimecia has that *all have GFs junctioned to them* alongside you yourself being able to bring Diablos into the past within a Laguna sequence, you can wonder how much Ultimecia actually influenced the past with letting loose her GF-imbued monsters. Perhaps she's the one who sent the Siren-imbued Elvoret so you couldn't interrupt the radio tower installation or destroy it after it became operational.

Gohan's explanation implies he can still boost his Ki up, and Broly let his Ki rampage in a continuous boost, so we technically haven't seen either of them go full power.

Lock the two up in a hyperbolic time chamber for a day and let them go at it for a year, I don't think Black Frieza will be a problem to either of them afterwards.

If they do an FF8 remake, an expanded section for Ultimecia and some alternate timelines created by Ellone and her meddling with history being explored could be interesting.

As for the junction magic system, convoluted ways to increase power by drawing magic and junctioning it to different attributes so if you wanted to use magic, you'd depower yourself was an interesting game mechanic, but I think the game should explore the consequences of heavy reliance on the GF a bit more than missing memories.

People overusing GFs causing different story routes or a poorer ending would be interesting. Imagine if Irvine overused GFs the moment he joined, and then never brought up the orphanage later on? Or if Squall had clearer and more vivid memories if you only relied on your gunblade?
