For me, I think dragonball's time ended after dbz. And even z wasnt a masterpiece. The og db was. It'll forever be the best of the best classic of all time for me. But for the new gen...maybe im fine with solo leveling being crowned father of manhwa adaptations but i know better titles have yet to be adapted. We'll see

Too late, Sarada wouldve been a better title for the series than Boruto from the start. Naruto became the hokage and brought everyone immense satisfaction through achieving it. The answer to his succession would've been sasuke's offspring due to their rivalry and how Sasuke was the Deuteragonist to naruto. Sure this is only about "boruto's story and not his dad's" but that just kills its own hype from what we know about the shinobis... Kishimoto sensei should've turned it around this time and let Boruto be the Deuteragonist to sarada's MC. They even had her inherit the "im going to be the hokage!" Too 🤦💔 and boruto was never aiming to be hokage from the beginning due to his father's popularity and being spoiled thanks to the peace the villages achieved after defeating kaguya.

Agreed, there are plenty of top tier isekai manhwa with enormous potential after high quality animation. Especially in the villainess subgenre. Not sure if chinese animation studios is the way to go yet but the japanese studios probably arent up to snuff anymore after the solo leveling hype. Granted it was probably the best they can get during an isekai quality slump headed downhill in this day and age

They only started being underrated within this recent decade. I dont think any chinese anime made any big impact other than their chinese mythology cartoons before cupids chocolate 🤔. If anything, its an improvement final frigginly. It's 'bout time

That's basically ashborn's powers jinwoo has been using from since his hunter reawakening lol. He just kept unlocking more of ashborns powers with the challenges the admin threw at him. Majority of this is all part of the shadow monarch's plan. So you could say that's the actual owner of jinwoo's aura in solo leveling 🙃

Maybe shonen genre starting to die out because isekai becoming mainstream 🤔. Isekai is so overused but i dont see anyone putting the breaks on that yet 🫠. LoM and ORV let's goooo

Agreed, and solo leveling is not just shonen but dark shonen taking the usual anime audience and the more mature audiences for a fun ride. It's definitely widely enjoyable for the general and new audience throughout the entire world.

It's quite far above average. I think of it as a gateway to better manhwa/manhua adaptations such as tbhX, and soon we'll even have lotm and orv. Hopefully tbate can be fixed

Frieren is more of an acquired taste. I'd watch it as if I'm sipping on fine wine. Binging isn't recommended. Apothecary diaries is also an acquired taste sharing similar inquisitive qualities as the classic detective conan anime so well done getting this far.

I'm pretty satisfied with solo leveling despite the hate it gets. As manhwa reader, im expecting more korean and chinese stories to get this animation quality treatment from now on. Tower of God was a bit disappointing but they did okay since i loved the op/ed themes. Tbate was trainwreck. Orv live action... Sigh. TbhX almost a masterpiece. Now we just have to hope ORV and LotM anime won't disappoint and take aoty too cause their stories deserve it even more than SL
