Brand new 3s for my son at christmas bricked from mandatory update during initial setup. Soured christmas day, ive spoken to a huge number of people in the same position over the last few days. As of this morning (10am, UK, 28th Dec) meta support in whatsapp chat will acknowledge they know of the issue, but still wont confirm theyve rolled any update back or that its safe to turn on, I've since replaced the unit via the highstreet retailer who were great, but wont turn on till meta say its safe.
