Don't get me wrong and its sad for me to say this but pacing was very rushed in the final season however i can agree it was outstanding in the first 3 seasons, that being said its still a masterpiece i just don’t think you should say “its a masterpiece because of pacing” when it did end up fumbling somewhat with the pacing. Pacing aside, AOT does love and storytelling and death better than almost anything else out there, for instance characters actually die and there deaths have meaning thats stick with me for years and will until i die. Additionally the romance while not relying on fan service like most anime's do (i believe fan service is the only thing holding back some anime's pure storytelling, aside from csm as it is used to try to force the viewer into a first person perspective to make viewers end with the same moral, the creator is a genius) as eren even yells out at one point he’s scared of mikasa being with someone else after he dies, hollywood always depicts this scene as a meaningless “find someone else after i’m gone” Eren’s selfishness and honesty make him not only stand out but relatable. And my oh my the themes this show ends with, wow.

I would like to see a astro bot smash bros, where astro bots version of kratos could expand and create various characters such as a astro jin sakai, or rather just a ssb with astro bot and jin and other ps characters that aren’t a “astro bot” would be better.

If you mean naruto should shine in place of boruto, i agree. Its superior in every way but, if you mean naruto should be remastered and or continued, i completely disagree. Naruto needs to be left at the master piece it was, is, and always will be.

Botutos problem is not the series itself, as a natuto fan i love boruto just looking at the mangas art. Its still kishimotos art and that alone is just one of the reasons i still love it.

It’s important to note, borutos problem lays within the anime, not the manga, Naruto as a franchise being low, is mostly due to that soul reason. Making more boruto is a mistake, its already a broken and for some reason they keep trying to glue it back together, it needs to restart, more true to the manga.

How can you say “it still starts with a console.” When i can now play Xbox on, pc, rog ally, ipad, and and heres one that hurts: fire stick, yes the laggiest of all streaming devices now can function as a Xbox. Not to mention the steam machine is gonna basically be able to be a better Xbox that can operate as a a xbox or anything you want. Yes finally, Xboxs savior, the exclusives, oh wait, we gave them all away, you can play halo on ps now…..ye no, Xbox is losing the console war, no matter what way you look at it.

Agreed, by the way mha is still under contract for more anime movies, and Netflix has officially announced a live action is coming. One way or another we will see it eventually.

Because his dream was to have a quirk and be a hero, so when he sacrificed his dream to be a hero, he became a true hero. Also this is why it took 8 years rather than a few months, because of the themes of sacrifice.

Although i like stranger things more than some anime i don’t immediately jump to say this is so much better than anime, in fact most anime i like i like for similar reasons i like stranger things, such as pacing score characters etc. 

The case is the same for the lord of the mysteries, just because one (or three being generous) stands above doesn’t mean the whole genre is better. Like you love lord of the mysteries i love stranger things, BUT i don’t expect any other American shows to be as good, knowing that most are hollywood money grabs with no point. 

Japanese anime stands on top as a genre not as a singular show but as a genre made of several shows. 

I hope that America can keep making more shows like stranger things.

I hope china makes more like lord of the mysteries.

But the fact is japan is the only one that does and has done that, consistently since anime’s debut. And still does. 

As a genre it stands above, sure some Chinese shows succeed it in some ways but anime has hundreds of masterpieces. Consistently amazing and china does not yet have that. Neither does America im not singling down on any genre as a “bad genre” im saying anime as it stands is the best. 

In time china may change that, but as it stands anime has been running the race for being a good genre far longer and so simply put its farther along, china may eventually catch up or lord of the mysteries is chinas stranger things, just one good show in the midst of mostly terrible shows, so…

As it stands anime is the better genre, will it change? Maybe. But for now and the foreseeable future, anime is on top.

First off i agree that popularity doesn’t matter, however, Japanese art is more human, as an artist i can interpret it and appreciate it. Its not a question of what simply looks better its a question of whats behind how it looks and does how it looks amplify whatever that is? 

Im sorry if i wrote in a confusing way, but you said i said “japan is literally better than china in every way”, i did not mean this if i implied it, in fact china inspired many of the best parts about japanese art. 

I will look more into Chinese animation and see better what you mean but, as it stands two good Chinese shows cant rival the hundred anime i could name so many right now.

This is only scratching the surface, whenever i hear anything about Chinese animation its always one of these three.

And out turns out the only three i have ever heard of are the only three you mentioned. 

Essentially what you are saying is lord of the mysteries is better than any anime you seen therefore placing Chinese animation above Japanese anime, and saying tbhx is better than mha and super cube is better than solo leveling while you’re at it.

Not fair since tbhx is not over yet. So we cant even argue about this. If you do argue the fact that a show shouldn’t be fully judged till its completed then you have no place criticizing at all.

And finally, the lord of the mysteries. 

My point here is this, stranger things is by far the best American show. It’s amazing, better than some anime. That being said anime is still a better genre, because most American shows don’t do anything as good as stranger things such as characters, pacing, score, graphics, story.

First lets start with your “Chinese animation has always been better than Japanese anime”

Japan has a culture that speaks stories with or without animation, and is unbelievably creative, Hayao Miyazaki showed anime’s beautiful colors, and people like Tsugumi Ohga showed just how dark it can be. Makoto shinkais films have impacted me so much that i have actually changed from them. These directors not only showed me beautiful animation but stories with meaning behind them. And one of my favorite directors hayao miyazaki (whom i grew up looking up to) specifically called out AI in the world of animation, he went as far as to say that it is an insult to humanity itself. You can see his passion for animation as he calls out how AI could ruin animation.

I have not seen any Chinese director or writer say anything like that, in fact, China uses A LOT of AI to make animation. 

In japan the way they pour tea is an art, the art is so beautiful but for art to exist there might be brokenness. Japan knows brokenness. And they write it. They draw it.

They they labor so hard that mangakas getting hospitalized is normal.

Also id like to point out that 90% of people don’t even know any Chinese shows, if it is good as you claim then the community isn’t recommending it enough.

Im not hating Chinese animation, it’s great, but i am criticizing your statement. 

Japanese anime is better than Chinese animation. In literally every way.
