Pretty welcome change. Not much wrong with the NPCs in 3, but it all feels as if they're there to play their own role and part entirely separate to whatever Geralt is doing in the story. Having people you can more freely interact with (maybe a companion system) and involve in your own adventures would make them feel a bit more connected.

Some of the most connection I feel is in act 3 when both Yen and Triss have different ideas about settling down with Geralt and maybe Ciri after it's all over, it's more out of concern for Ciri than an actual draw towards Geralt's choices though - you have your romance arc then the rest of the story just plays out

It's a slick concept, looks good, looks like it plays good too.

Where Rocket League succeeds though, is their car-based take on traditional football. This appears to just be Fives but with store-brand Overwatch characters.

I'm still gonna play it, it looks like fun and if it's anything like Fifa Street, it'll be a blast.

There's near infinite room for a follow up, even just based in each of the characters' personal quests.

One thing that irked me is BG3's obsession with "The" Elder Brain. There are hundreds if not thousands of Elder Brains and the antagonists purely managed to get their hands on what was likely a fairly weak one. My own campaign I've written up for my playgroup is set 50 years after the events of BG3 and they've just learned that the wider Illithid mind has learned from what happened, meaning they only fought a prototype in BG3.

I like Jeffrey's idea, have the party initially fight against a group of potentially older or out of touch vault hunters - the better you do against them in the first half, the harder it'll be playing as them in the second half cause of those meddling kids

I got the Witcher Ciri ending on my first playthrough, it really seems like the best and most appropriate ending to multiple points raised throughout the games, from fertility to the question of Ciri's very suicidal motives in the final quest.

Some of this is a little fast and loose, for starters, the Grey Knights are an entirely separate outfit to the Astartes and were created by Malcador the Sigilite, not the Emperor. While the Emperor did the actual gene editing - he tasked Malcador with creating the Inquisition in the first place, which the Ordo Malleus is a part of.

Deathwing Terminators have access to wargear and armour dating back to the Great Crusade, the Dark Angels used to have an entire War Crimes Division (The Dreadwing) solely to test the Emperor's new weapons, they'd rip the arms off an Ultramarine.

Speaking of which, if we're hell bent on considering the Grey Knights regular Marines - Kaldor Draigo makes Calgar look like a crusty old man.

The author would know this if they didn't just scroll the wiki for 5 minutes.
