A very strange take! The price and the packs' value are way better than what Diablo 4 offered. There are enough people who will buy supporter packs exactly because GGG has built so much good will over the years and we WANT to support this game. And then the game releases and everyone else gets to hop in FOR FREE. This looks like an insanely customer-friendly approach while also retaining a sustainable business model. I can not wrap my head around your concerns that this will somehow turn people away from the game.
