Chasing fads is a HUGE part of what killed the Battlefield franchise in the first place, the next installment needs to be a remake of BF3 or BF4, if you want to play CoD or Fortnite, go play CoD or Fortnite, I want to play Battlefield, so I play(ed) Battlefield!
