angel was starting to look old at the end of his series anyway maybe the human soul ages them? I’d accept that just to have them as guest chars lol

Why are you writing an article on something you know nothing about. Spike is brought back from the dead in s5 of Angel. In the problematic scene you’re referring to, Spike was a soulless vampire. It’s the reason he goes and gets his soul. Angel as a soulless vampire wouldn’t have cared at all and probably would have tortured her with the deed.
