I’ve felt this way since SL but have been feeling it more lately. I’d understand why no archaeology in SL; but there a number of other things that seem out of pocket for the after life that I could have just ignored it.

Dragonflight would have been the perfect reintroduction since the whole main premise was the dragon isles awakening and drakthyr discovering their past (missed opportunity imo; even with their world event one) (not to mention all the other cool races in DF)

Now in TWW, between the titans, earthen, arathi, bugs boys, goblins, etc. Khaz Algar is rich with history and culture. Here we have another expansion where it makes perfect sense as a companion profession but it was just ignored.

I thought I saw somewhere blizzard said they won’t reintroduce it without a massive overhaul, which I think is whack.

Fishing functionally has not been cuanged but they keep that around. Don’t get me wrong, there’s plenty they could do to improve fishing for fun/ease (hate accidentally clicking off my loot and losing it forever lol) but at least they didn’t remove it until then.

Continue to overhaul when and however you want but at least let us keep the system that’s in place.

I’ve seen all the marketing ploys they’ve done lately, so ik theyve been bringing in some resources (looking at you bruto)
