As someone who hasn't read the manwa, I've gotta say, I enjoyed SL so far. But the anime always usually takes a different route. So for the rest of us, we can't miss what we haven't seen.

People may be upset by the lack of certain elements, but what they forget in this day and age are modders. You can be damn sure some of them will come up with new and fantastic stuff. Will suck for consoles though.
