Given the fact that Ocarina of time could be played on N64, Gamecube, Wii, Wii U, 3DS, AND SWITCH, I'm going to say that it's inaccurate to claim this is the first time in history that Nintendo has made their titles playable and more importantly PURCHASABLE on 3 consecutive consoles.

Also, just to reiterate, the Switch 2 isn't going to be backward compatible with the Wii U. It will be backward compatible with the Switch and therefor will be able to play Switch ports of Wii U games. It's still only backward compatible one generation. There's nothing historical about this.
