One of the biggest flaws with D4 was that every class was the same old same old we've seen a thousand times before, and only 5 classes. Games like Lost Ark have so many more classes and that's a massive draw, players expect more variety these days and 5 bog standard classes was a snooze fest. Paladin would just be adding to the snooze. If they were actually dedicated to keeping players around they'd add a class or two into the game in patches and not just one in an xpac. Also changing up the class skills would be cool
