Most of the timeline issues have more to do with not effectively conveying certain aspects of the matter to the player then actually not making sense. I mean Gelebor is a very traditionalistic elf and as such doesn't view time in the hectic short sighted fashion most in modern Tamriel may also elves literally can just keep on living unless illness kills them or someone or something else so 100 years really isn't that much to them so to be fair a 1 or 2 thousand is just the worth of his devotion to his cause. As for the Nords doing so much in Skyrim in the empires decline? Well that's just it they weren't doing it alone as the Thalmor where activity suppling them as it furthered their interests and yeah having lots of resources courtesy of a third party will do that. Now regarding the whole college of Winter hold... Eh that's just Nord politics for ya. I mean that's just the way they are with magic and Skyrim did if nothing else get that part across as the Nords REALLY have it out for the mages in general.

So yeah the real issue isn't when the next games set chronologically but that it's actually given the proper attention it needs both for the story and for the build quality of the game itself as Bethesda kinda got a real issue with quality control and they definitely need to get it under control before ES6 is released not after or divines forbid during its release... Ugh had enough of that with Skyrim.

Honestly I could care less about the file size I mean no game going actually fill a 1-2 Tb drive anyways... Well maybe Ark might but that's a different can worms.

Anyways if I'm being honest my biggest concern is the fact that it straight up crashes on some gpus and I'm not talking budget gpus either for instance 2 of my computers with Nvidia 30xxti series cards just straight up crash heavily during Thor fight and without fail on a pillar that you gotta move. Now maybe it's just a weird thing but still not something I expect from any game let alone GoW but hopefully they release a patch for this as the current patch(s) didn't help.
