By this same token every Clan attached to the main plot will continue to grow. Part of the mystique of the story is that some things are lost to history. It also stands as yet another parallel between Naruto and Sasuke. The Uchiha were wiped out and the Uzamaki were too. Both come from tragic pasts and suffered from the power their families command. Their unique abilities set them apart from other Clans but this also makes them vulnerable. The story would not offer the same interest if there weren't any strife and, the themes and messages stay interesting because much of it is concealed until it aligns narratively.
