This platform is extremely biased... The viewers voted Solo Leveling as anime of the year, as it had a massive impact in the anime community and shattered numerous records. Frieren is a great anime as well, but it is a different, slower paced style. Comparing Solo Leveling to Frieren is like comparing eggs to oranges. It's time to stop whining about Frieren not being named anime of the year...
