Given the way ScarVi is optimized for switch, you'll need swith 2 to play za in acceptable quality anyway. The fact that the game is made for switch 1 only doesn't supprise anyone, they can't make one tittle for two consoles and they don't wanna miss on the sheer amount of ppl who have switch 1 and won't upgrade on day 1. However to enjoy the game you'll need to run it in switch 2 or pc anyway.

It's funny how the article is title "the new purchase policy" and then the text says "it's always been that way".

I can't comprehend the amount of ppl that started talking just now about the fact that you own nothing on steam. Nothing changed. It's always been that way. Every store except gog works like that. If you didn't know it before then maybe it is a wake up call for you but there is no new policy on steam. They just have to disclose more directly how they operate. Just that. Don't like it? Support gog. Buy physical games on consoles. Pirate bought games to have them archived. Pc physical games went away because people preffered the ease of use of steam. Fight it and make sure we will not lose drm free games and console physical releases. Make the choice and support what you wanna see and not just bash about steam because of how they've operated for years.
