I really don't agree with every entry being phenomenal. That sounds like some fanboy bias, no offense. There have been some real solid entries, but there have been stinkers too. The game is basically just very formulaic and bloated games now days. There is still fun to be had in most entries, but saying every game has been phenomenal is quite a stretch.

Odyssey is also my favorite, but I hated Valhalla, found Mirage to be boring, and have zero interest in Shadows. I can't see shadows being better than Ghost of Tsushima anyways.

I didn't even like Inquisition, but Veilguard makes Inquisiton look like an RPG masterpiece. Veilguard has nice graphics (not art style), but it's one of the most boring "RPG" games I've played in a long time.

If this is what western AAA games are becoming, I'll pass.
