I feel cheated by the initial premise being changed to give everyone else participation trophies and calling all of them the greatest heroes and it no longer being about how Izuku exclusively became the world's greatest hero. I hate bait-and-switch.

Yes we are aware that the ending was changed from what we were promised for years. Also, tell Horikoshi to take off the stupid mask and stop wearing it all the time like a wuss.

So "this is the story of how I became the world's greatest hero" doesn't mean what is said? Right sure. Sounds like a cop-out to me and a poor excuse for bad writing at the end and not following through with what we were promised from the beginning.
