I'm in the same boat. Locked in a room with 5-6 creatures, can't seem to beat it. I've tried 10 or so times. I just don't seem to have enough resources and not enough inventory space to rectify this issue. I'm tired of trying and with no difficulty options, I'm thinking about giving up. Glad I got the game from Gamefly, saved me 80$. Thinking of sending it back, if I can't get past this area soon, and will swap it out for the new Silent Hill game and check that out.
