Its not the first. Fifa already had a massive lawsuit regarding this years ago. Fortnite was also forced to add times to their digital products because it would fall under the same law of forcing young children to buy something, not knowing if it would be available again and for how long.

Dutch and Belgian gambling laws Arent too strict. They are reasonable when it comes to protecting children from gambling. If this was drugs or alcohol abuse, everyone agrees there should be laws, but for gambling not?

These laws are also nothing new and way ahead of Unite's release. Fifa was introduced to a massive lawsuit, concluding in a massive fine and loot boxes no longer for sale in NL/BE. TiMi had enough time ahead to know what the consequences would be implementing loot boxes and they went ahead with it anyway, eventually ruining players experience knowing they would have to shut it down eventually and make it unplayable for a portion of the community.
