About the article specifically, I think Sonic deserves a higher spot than Shadow, as he's defeated him many times, and also has a Hyper Form whereas Shadow does not. Starfall Super Sonic also defeated The End, and is the only character to have a Starfall form. However, I believe Solaris, who wasn't even on this list, deserves the top spot.
About the question, I do think Eggman should get a spot on this list, due to the amount of times he's succeeded in trapping and controlling immensely powerful beings.
