I'll even break them down.
• Nicolas Cage - A famous actor who, among other things, is associated with popular horror films.
• Castlevania - Side scroller homage to Hammer Horror films.
• Dungeons & Dragons - World based RPG with horror campaigns. Also connected to Stranger Things.
• Tokyo Ghoul - Horror adjacent anime.
• Tomb Raider - This was the biggest stretch for DBD, but the franchise has a history with horror (including cancelled survival horror entries, as well as the remake series taking inspiration from The Descent).
I guess BHVR went a little overboard doing so many adjacent licenses in a row, but the uptick in non-horror suggestions is still weird. Even now, the next licenses are Five Nights at Freddy's and The Walking Dead.

No it wouldn't because Star Wars has nothing to do with horror LMFAO.
It amazes me how many people misunderstand this game's simple premise. Like, I get it, DBD added a bunch of horror-adjacent licenses last year, but every chapter has been part of the horror genre in some way.
They're never adding Darth Vader and Batman because it isn't Fortnite.
