A lot of less intelligent people certainly describe it like that when it necessarily isn't what they mean.

Some of those people definitely use the terms for every game they dislike when it isn't a white guy main character...

However, a lot of it can be accurate. Dragon Age was a perfect example. It's about poor writing and being preached to where there's no stakes involved between your personal relationships with the companions. When it's done like BG3 you still get the complaints from the fools but notice how the reception of those moments was different at large?

That's what happens when you write a character, instead of writing a lecture to force a character into in an attempt to "teach a lesson" like a new children's cartoon.

What the political agenda people don't realize it's actually worse than that. It's people who made one thing about themselves their personality and feel the need to preach to everyone about it.

It makes for bland uninteresting characters and stories. They need real conflict.
