I mean from what I see this article is pretty accurate although magik isn't limited to horizontal movement her umbral incursion ability can be used to gain height on the enemy or to get up to higher parts of the stage as it doesn't only dash you forward but where your cursor is pointed. Furthermore I would say that her teleport should only be used as escape if your engaging from short range because if you become overwhelmed a well aimed umbral does a better job of getting you away from the enemy team.
