This js silly talk yes the same 8-12hit strings are boring but long combos are a statement of long time spent with that character understanding them and using their massive move list to get the best damage possible. Small strings with equal damage would make it like tekken 3. I think the sweet spot is tekken 5 6 and ttt2 and whatever tekken 8 and 7 did but those ps2 and ps3 titles surely had much more interesting stuff going on
