Using it at all in this case, is simply stupid. It makes zero sense. I have a hard time believing enough people online were calling difficulty sliders "woke", to merit a response.

"woke" is short for cultural marxism. Difficulty sliders has absolutely nothing to do that with. It's just kids who don't even know what it means, using the term.
