Out of all of the gameplay aspects that need serious changes (multiplayer interaction, loading screens, unnecessary cutscenes, unnecessary interruption of gameplay when people fly to your island, repetitive tasks that have to be accomplished one item at a time, the inability to change to decorate your island while other players are visiting, etc...) Having an animal avatar is the least of our desires and concerns.
