Justin Half is still less players... If you don't like a genre, don't play it. Changing a game to appeal to people that already don't like your game just ruins it for those that actually do.

Nearly Half of 2025's Top Steam Releases Have Been From AA or Indie Studios

And 99% of the slop that comes out every day is also indie. The size or budget of the studio means nothing and with there being more indie developers and games being released compared to triple A that have much longer development times, they're bound to fill all ranges on the charts just by shear numbers. Just enjoy the games you want to enjoy, it isn't that deep.

Assassin's Creed Origins is Being Review Bombed

Mass reviewing a game for something unrelated to the game is review bombing, the devs do not control a window update years after the fact.
