Personally I would love the idea of there being a 3rd character to play as, specially if the character is cop. Not a good one, one that operates on edge and have something personale against the two other characters or at least one of them. Gameplay could be we do the crime with the team of the two others, then later the story continues with the cop/detective coming into play and trying to piece the crime together and the same time dealing with keeping his own crimenale elements out of the sight of the department.
