Final Fantasy 16 Getting the FF10-2 Treatment Would Rhyme Perfectly

Except...Clive is succumbing to the Bearer's curse at the end of 16. Jill was already suffering from it, which is why Clive took the burden of her Eikon. The only thing a 16-2 could do would be to search for a way to save Jill, but without her Eikon's full power.

No, 16 ended well and the fate of both Clive and Jill are sealed, lovers destined to sacrifice everything in their quest to save the world. This one should stay with the established ending. Maybe FFXVII can have a lighter tone.
