Is PUBG: Battlegrounds Worth Playing in 2024?
PUBG has a hacking problem. Their online tournaments usually have atleast 1 team that has members who've been caught hacking in the past. Theres video evidence of atleast one top tier player openly admitting to hacking via discord. They were still allowed to compete.
Many competitive players also use ESP and aimhack software in public/ranked matches. Each teammate will take turns cheating each game so PUBGs "anti-cheat" system doesnt pick up the patterns.
At this point, one can't help but consider that PUBG is aware of their competitive players/influencers of using exploits. Many streamers have been caught, as well as the people they regularly party with using exploits. Theres been rumors in exploit servers that cheaters can actually get their accounts unbanned. Which would leave me to think someone at TenCent is unbanning.. Wouldn't be surprised if TenCent was even employing the people engineering these exploits..
At something like $150-$300 a month to use these exploits is all the reason a company like TenCent would need to go F2P while selling exploits via a 3rd party. It's sort of genius.
So in my opinion it's not worth playing.. And thats coming from someone with a little over 10,000 hours in PUBG. It's infested with cheaters, most discord servers consist of players with major egos from beating up on bots in pubs. If you have the funds to pay for exploits every month, sure it'll be fun for a short period of time.
But, you can monetize youre use of exploits pretty easily. Just join NAPS you'll eventually find a group who sees no issue with cheating. M1ME did it.
