How To Use Money in Promise Mascot Agency

Essentially, there are three main places where players can spend their money in Promise Mascot Agency:

  • Upgrades: Players can upgrade their agency in different ways by visiting the agency in the game. This gives the player different buffs that are usually stackable, or unlocks new features for you such as fast travel.
  • Send to Shimazu: After the player gets their foothold in the town, players get the objective to send money to their boss, Shimazu, to pay off her debts. This was the whole reason why the player was sent to Kaso-Machi.
  • Town Upgrades: After meeting Mr. Sato at the Town Hall, players get the option to upgrade different parts of the town. This unlocks new jobs for the mascots the player employs.
  • Sub-Contractors: Players can hire mascots and assign them to different locations to make a set amount of money each day. Buying the location requires a decent chunk of money.

All Money-Making Methods in Promise Mascot Agency

If you break it down, there are four main ways to make money in Promise Mascot Agency. At the start, players can only make money by doing small-time mascot jobs that don’t pay much, but you’ll start to unlock more methods as the game progresses.

  • Mascot Jobs: The higher you increase your Agency fame level, the higher tier jobs you’ll be able to send your mascots on. To unlock more jobs, players should go around the town and look for places that can be upgraded, such as the War Ruins. Once upgraded through Mr. Sato, players will start getting jobs from that location as well. You will also naturally get more lucrative jobs once your agency level increases.
  • Sub-Contractors: After you’ve progressed in the game to a certain point, Shiori will ask to talk to you and you will unlock subcontractors. Players can buy locations in different towns and assign subcontractor mascots to those locations to earn daily revenue without any additional work. You will need to find sub-contractor mascot cards to assign them as subcontractors.
  • Crane Games Merchandise: After you complete the quest related to the mine quest in the Second Act, you'll unlock the ability to sell merchandise, though you need to play crane games to do so. Players can get different collectibles for their Agency, play a mini-game to put those collectibles up for sale, and make a profit from those locations each day. You should aim for the figures that glow different colors to make the most money for your time, as they are worth more than the ones that don't glow. Each glow corresponds to the level of the Hero Card that the figurine belongs to. R is green, SR is blue, SSR is yellow/golden, and UR is purple.
  • Trash Collection: Players can also get some money by cleaning up trash around the town after they get the trash collection upgrade for their truck. You can get this upgrade after talking to Jose to unlock the spirit fox quest and catching the spirit on the road going north-west from Captain Sign.

Best Way to Make Money in Promise Mascot Agency

best method to make money in promise mascot agency

As far as immediate money-making schemes go, Mascot Jobs are the most lucrative once you've gotten a little famous. These require the player to assign a Mascot when they come up, and the player needs to help their mascot when they get into trouble to get the most money from each job.

However, the easiest and most satisfying way to make money is through Sub-Contractors. The bar for entry is a bit high for Sub-Contractors, but they earn the player a decent chunk of change each day consistently and don’t need to be managed at all. Players only need to recruit workers to assign at different locations, and the money will start rolling in non-stop.
