At first, Prospecting may seem like a very simple experience, where you just need to pan to find minerals and then sell them for Cash. However, there are many different ores in the game, including extremely rare ones. To find them, you need to pan in certain places. This guide will tell you about all the Minerals locations in Prospecting.

Each mineral has a rarity, which affects the chance of finding it. In addition, rarer ores are correspondingly more expensive, so you will want to get them and sell them.

In the first 5 minutes of the game, you are taught the basic mechanics of this Roblox game. Fortunately, all this is enough to find both common and Mythic minerals in Prospecting. The latter are the rarest, so the most expensive. At first, you will not even have a chance to find Mythic minerals, because these ores are in certain locations that require high-level equipment.

To make it easier for you to find the minerals you need for quests or crafting, you should use the table below. In it, you will find all Prospecting minerals, their rarity, cost, and locations where you can pan them.

How to Get & Use Geodes

Besides the usual panning, players can collect minerals in an alternative way: by opening Geodes in Prospecting. These are special stones that can be found throughout the map. It's important to note that each Geode is bound to a specific location. In other words, a Geode from Rubble Creek has a pool of minerals from the same location.

Luckily, to pick up a Geode, simply use a shovel near it. You'll then find the picked-up stones in your inventory. To open them, simply equip the stone and right-click.

This will give you several random minerals in just a couple of clicks. Furthermore, Geodes sometimes contain Meteor Shards instead of ores.
