Summary

  • All PlayStation Plus subscribers have three new monthly games to download for March 2025.
  • Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, and Sonic Colors: Ultimate are now available.
  • PlayStation Plus subscribers can keep their claimed monthly games for as long as they are subscribed to the service.

PlayStation Plus subscribers now have three new games to add to their collection, including the four-month-old Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The latest monthly games for March 2025 are available now for all PlayStation Plus subscribers and can be kept at no additional cost as long as the user remains subscribed to any of the service's three tiers.

While being subscribed to PlayStation Plus comes with various benefits, such as the ability to play online games, one of its biggest selling points is the monthly games available to subscribers. The Essential tier only entitles players to three new games each month, but those subscribed to PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium have a massive catalog of games to choose from. However, while the monthly games are available to keep forever (as long as there is an active PS Plus subscription), the game catalog often rotates new games in and out on a monthly basis, similar to its competitor, Xbox Game Pass.

Best Local Co-Op & Split-Screen Games On PlayStation Plus

PlayStation Plus has something for everyone, and that includes great couch co-op and split-screen games. Here are the absolute best on Sony's service.

With the first Tuesday of the month officially here, PlayStation Plus subscribers now have three new games to download and install at no additional cost, including Dragon Age: The Veilguard (PS5), Sonic Colors: Ultimate (PS4), and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection (PS4/PS5). While February 2025 was a stacked month for PS Plus subscribers, with titles like High on Life and Payday 3 making their way to the service, fans were shocked when Sony confirmed that Dragon Age: The Veilguard, a triple-a title that was only released in October 2024, would be headlining the line-up of games for March 2025. Subscribers have until Monday, March 31 to add the aforementioned games to their library before a new selection of titles is made available.

New PS Plus Monthly Games for March 2025

  • Dragon Age: The Veilguard
  • Sonic Colors: Ultimate
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection

The file size for March's PlayStation Plus titles will vary massively. Those looking to download and install all three games will need over 107 GB of free space, as Dragon Age: The Veilguard takes up a total of 86.93 GB alone. Sonic Colors: Ultimate, on the other hand, is much smaller in size, only taking up 12 GB of hard drive space. As for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, the size will slightly change depending on if users download the PS4 or PS5 version. The former of the two comes in at 8.32 GB, while the latter is only slightly larger in size, coming in at 8.60 GB.

While two of the three games available this month are for the last console generation, Sony recently confirmed some bad news for PlayStation 4 gamers. Starting from January 2026, PlayStation Plus will no longer offer PlayStation 4 games in the monthly titles or in the game catalog, which is available to Extra and Premium subscribers. While this doesn't mean there will never be a PS4 game added to the service again, Sony has said it will no longer be a "key benefit," meaning fans shouldn't expect to see free PS4 games on the service each month like they do currently.
