Summary

  • March 31 is the last day to claim March 2025's free PS Plus games like Dragon Age.
  • April's PS Plus games include RoboCop: Rogue City, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, and Digimon.
  • Eight games, including Kena: Bridge of Spirits, will leave PS Plus in April 2025.

March 31 is the last day that PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to claim the free games for March 2025. Even though the new titles offered to PlayStation Plus members only become available on the first Tuesday of the month, which in April just so happens to fall on April 1, the games can only be claimed through the last day of the month.

The PlayStation Plus games offered in March were Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, and Sonic Colors: Ultimate, and they’ve been available since March 4. Many members were surprised to see Dragon Age: The Veilguard added to the gaming subscription service so soon after its October 31, 2024, launch. Though titles occasionally come to PS Plus or Game Pass shortly after release, the four-month window for Veilguard was unusually small, and some people attributed it to the RPG’s underperforming sales.

Nevertheless, a lot of gamers were thrilled to see Veilguard and the other two titles come to PS Plus, and it’s a good idea to double check that they’ve been claimed before they disappear from the roster on March 31. Next month will be another exciting one for subscribers, as RoboCop: Rogue City, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth are coming to PlayStation Plus in April 2025.

PlayStation Plus Free Games for April 2025

  • RoboCop: Rogue City - PS5
  • The Texas Chain Saw Massacre - PS5/PS4
  • Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory - PS4

Teyon’s first-person shooter RoboCop: Rogue City came out in 2023 on multiple platforms. It received middling review ratings, with critics pointing to the game’s story, repetitive mission types, uneven pacing, dated graphics, and technical issues as the culprit. On the other hand, reviewers also praised the game’s faithful and nostalgia-inducing adaptation of the RoboCop films from the 80s and 90s.

Also launching in 2023, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre by Sumo Digital is an asymmetrical horror game in the vein of Dead by Daylight and Friday the 13th: The Game. It’s currently sitting at a 75 top critic average on OpenCritic and a “Mostly Positive” user rating on Steam. Rounding out the genres offered by the PlayStation Plus free games in April, the RPG Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth gives players another foray into the world of the Digimon Story games, which have been around since the era of the Nintendo DS.
