PlayStation Plus subscribers now have a new batch of free games to download, as Sony adds three new titles to the service that can be claimed right up until December 2. The latest set of titles to join PlayStation Plus, which includes the smash-hit 2022 indie game Stray, can be kept for as long as players have an active subscription to the service, but they must be claimed before the next set of games arrives in a month's time.
As game prices continue to rise, with rumors of Grand Theft Auto 6 costing upwards of $100, subscription services such as PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass have become a popular way for gamers to check out both new and old releases. The former of the two not only offers free games for players to keep each month, but also includes a catalog of games for those who subscribe to the Extra or Premium tiers. However, unlike the monthly Essential games, titles added to the game catalog are rotated regularly, which means some games may be removed from the service during a user's playthrough.
PS Plus Subscribers Have to Say Goodbye to Digimon on November 18
The next batch of PlayStation Plus removals will see a popular Digimon game removed from the subscription service.
October was another great month for PlayStation Plus, as Remedy Entertainment's award-winning Alan Wake 2 was given away to subscribers. Although the sequel can no longer be claimed, fans now have three new games available to download, as November 2025 sees the addition of Stray, EA Sports WRC 24, and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator to the service. Aside from EA Sports WRC 24, which is a current-gen exclusive, this month's titles can be played on both PS4 or PS5, but they must be claimed before December 2, as this is when the next batch of games will become available.
PS Plus Adds New Free Games for November 2025
- Stray (PS4, PS5)
- EA Sports WRC 24 (PS5)
- Totally Accurate Battle Simulator (PS4, PS5)
Those who are subscribed to either PlayStation Plus' Extra or Premium tiers may already be familiar with Stray, as the hit indie game was added to the service on day one back in 2022. Stray was then removed from the game catalog in 2023, one year after its release. Now, two years after its removal, the unique cat game will return to the service, and this time it will be available to those on the Essential tier, meaning it will be free to keep for as long as users have an active subscription. As soon as a user unsubscribes from PS Plus, the titles will be locked until the subscription is reactivated.
Unfortunately, despite the addition of Stray, EA Sports WRC 24, and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator, subscribers are losing out on some big games this month. Those on PS Plus Extra or Premium will need to say goodbye to Battlefield 5, Like a Dragon: Ishin!, Football Manager 2024 Console Edition, and more this month, as PlayStation has confirmed that a total of seven different games will be removed from the game catalog in November.
