Members in the Premium tier of PlayStation Plus will get to play some new classic games this month, and each of these titles comes with trophy support. PS Plus Premium subscribers get some noteworthy benefits over the other tiers, such as the ability to play select PS1, PS2, and PSP games.

Sony recently revealed the list of games coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium in July 2023, confirming that titles like It Takes Two, Sniper Elite 5, Snowrunner, World War Z, Samurai Warriors 5, and Undertale will be joining the subscription service. Users in the Premium tier can also play Twisted Metal, Twisted Metal 2, and Gravity Crash Portable at no extra cost. Now, new information confirms that gamers will be able to earn trophies while playing these three titles.

As reported by Push Square, Twisted Metal, Twisted Metal 2, and Gravity Crash Portable will launch with trophy support on PS Plus Premium, as trophies for all three games have appeared on Exophase. These titles also come with the highly sought after Platinum trophy, allowing trophy hunters to further increase their collection. Many games joining PS Plus Premium come with support for trophies, but fans now have confirmation that this trend will continue with the lineup for July 2023.

Players will be able to earn trophies for finishing levels in Twisted Metal, while some others may require fans to complete specific tasks and objectives. The difficulty of earning these trophies varies between titles, but some PS Plus Premium games allow users to unlock the Platinum trophy with relative ease.

While many titles launch with trophy support, Sony sometimes adds them to games after their release, with Super Stardust Portable a good example of this practice. Super Stardust Portable came out on PS Plus Premium in June 2022, but it received a new update in 2023 that added trophy support to the game.

In addition to classic games, PS Plus Premium subscribers also get access to time-limited trials, a feature that lets them try out games for a specific period. This duration differs between games, with most titles offering two to three hours of gameplay. However, some games only allow users to play for an hour, with Hogwarts Legacy’s PS Plus Premium trial offering just 45 minutes of gameplay. Regardless, it's a great way for players to try out games before buying them, and Sony continues to regularly update this lineup of trials.
