A co-op survival game for up to six players, Abiotic Factor has players exploring an underground facility, collecting resources, fighting monsters, and dealing with all kinds of bizarre interdimensional happenings. With aesthetics inspired by Valve's Half-Life series, Abiotic Factor certainly carves out a unique niche for itself in the survival game genre.
What may make Abiotic Factor even more appealing to PS5 gamers is the fact that the game is readily available to play through PlayStation Plus. Those that are signed up for the Extra or Premium tiers of PS Plus can play Abiotic Factor as much as they want without having to buy the game itself. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach
By this point, it's safe to say that most hardcore Kojima fans on PS5 have already played through Death Stranding 2: On the Beach's story and have reached the end credits. But beating Death Stranding 2's story is just the tip of the iceberg. The huge open world game is stuffed full of things for players to do if they want to get 100% completion and earn the Platinum trophy. Whether one spends their time building infrastructure for other Porters to take advantage of or works to complete deliveries themselves, there should still be plenty more to enjoy in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach before putting it back on the shelf.

Imagine a BioShock-style survival-horror game with muppets, and that's what My Friendly Neighborhood is. My Friendly Neighborhood first released on PC in 2023 and earned mostly positive reviews, but the bizarre horror game has now made its way to console. My Friendly Neighborhood's console launch came out of nowhere, but it has proven to be a pleasant surprise for fans of the genre. And with an average time to beat of only 4.5 hours, My Friendly Neighborhood isn't a major time commitment. PS5 gamers should have plenty of time to not only start My Friendly Neighborhood this weekend, but beat the game as well.

Ready or Not
There is a lot of controversy surrounding Ready or Not and how it was toned down to bring the game to consoles, but it still provides an intense SWAT experience that is otherwise hard to find on PS5. Ready or Not is a throwback to classic SWAT games, with players able to tackle missions solo or in co-op with their friends. Each scenario can be tackled in numerous ways, with players rated based on their performance. The goal is to sweep each map, finding the necessary evidence, saving hostages, and arresting or killing bad guys, depending on what the scenario calls for. As long as one isn't too bothered by the censorship controversy, there is a lot to like about Ready or Not.
