Developer Krafton has just rolled out PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds update 31.1, a significant overhaul of the clan system that introduces a host of new features, including Clan challenges, missions, tokens, and more. This latest PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds update, now live on the PC server, aims to deepen the clan gameplay experience and provide more rewards for active participation.

PUBG is a popular battle royale game where up to 100 players are dropped onto an island and must scavenge for weapons, armor, and other supplies to survive and eliminate opponents. The playable area of the island gradually shrinks, forcing players into closer quarters and intense combat until only one player or team remains. The new update of the free-to-play game PUBG introduces Clan challenges and missions, where clans can participate in weekly tasks to earn in-game rewards. Completing these challenges together grants Gauge Points, which determine the class of the Clan Supply Airplane and the quality of rewards from Clan Loot Caches. However, players must maintain high activity, as Gauge Points will decrease slightly each week. Additionally, the update introduces Clan Tokens, earned from weekly XP goals, which can be used to buy exclusive items. It also allows clan leaders to add community links to improve communication and organization.

Beyond the current overhaul of the clan system, which was introduced in PUBG update 30.2, a new attachment called the Muzzle Brake has been added, compatible with most assault rifles, designated marksman rifles, and some shotguns. This attachment reduces camera shake and assists with recoil. Updates have also been made to existing attachments, enhancing their variety and impact on gunplay.
