Last week, PUBG Corporation released a patch for the Xbox One version of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds that was meant to nerf vehicles so they weren't quite so overpowered in the game. Now after listening to some player feedback, the studio has released a new patch that reverts one of the changes.

In an effort to make vehicles less deadly in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds on Xbox One, PUBG Corporation made it easier to destroy them, increased the damage players took while crashing in them, and made it harder to get kills by running over enemies. The latest patch reverses the latter, so players should find it easier to get kills by smashing into others with their vehicles.

Besides this change, the latest update also addresses some lingering bugs in the game. An issue that was preventing players from vaulting over certain objects has been fixed, the camera will now stay in the proper place after death, and vehicles won't respawn in random areas on the map after leaving them.

These bug fixes and the vehicle change will likely be appreciated by many PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds players on Xbox One, especially those that felt the vehicle nerfs went too far. It's important to note that this change retains the increased amount of damage vehicles will take, so hopefully it results in a more balanced experience for everyone.

Of course, this latest patch is far from the last that will make its way to PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds on Xbox One. The console version is still in early access, as the developers are working to bring it closer to its PC counterpart with frequent updates. It's true that a lot of progress has been made since the game's somewhat broken early access launch, but there's no denying that PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds still has a long way to go on Xbox One.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is available now on PC and on Xbox One through the Game Preview program.
