Quidditch Champions lets you take to the skies on a broom to play the iconic sport of Quidditch from the Harry Potter universe. It's an online sports game that you can play single-player against bots or other players, or online with friends in multiplayer co-op or PVP matches. However, if you've got your sights on testing your broom flying skills with or against friends on other consoles, you might be eager to know whether you can play Quidditch Champions crossplay and whether the game supports cross-play progression.

There are 16 national teams in Quidditch Champions, and Harry Potter fans won't be happy about two that are missing.
Fortunately, Quidditch Champions has some handy and straightforward systems to help answer this question and get you teaming up with friends and playing Quidditch together in no time.
Is Quidditch Champions Crossplay?
To get right to it, Quidditch Champions does support cross-platform multiplayer between all of its supported platforms as follows:
- Nintendo Switch
- PS4 and PS5
- Xbox One
- Xbox Series S and X
- PC (Windows - Steam and Epic)
As also stated on the official Quidditch Champions FAQ page, it also supports cross-progression in addition to crossplay, meaning whatever platform you're playing the game on, you take everything you earn with you. There are a lot of collectibles and currencies in Quidditch Champions, but you don't need to worry about losing any progress if you want to switch between playing the game on different platforms.
Quidditch Champions is an online game that requires an internet connection and a Warner Brothers account to play. If playing solo, you can play online matches against bots or with other human players through online matchmaking.
How To Play Quidditch Champions Crossplay With Friends (Crossplay Explained)
Fortunately, it seems that Quidditch Champions already has crossplay-enabled automatically and there are no menu options to turn crossplay on or off. When launching a game of Quidditch via the 'Play!' Button on the game's 'Play' tab, there are three game modes with Crossplay enabled as follows:
- Campaign - solo/co-op vs. Bots.
- Multiplayer - classic PVP matches against other players in 3v3 teams where the first team to 100 points wins.
- Exhibition - solo/co-op vs. Bots, where you select any two teams to compete head-to-head.
There is also an Open Practice game mode where you can practice playing Quidditch solo vs. Bots before launching a match.
How To Invite Friends To Play Quidditch Champions
If you want to play Quidditch Champions crossplay with friends co-operatively or competitively, you can search for your friend's Warner Brothers account name in the Friends & Community menu to add them. Using this menu, you can add other players regardless of what platform they might be playing Quidditch Champions. You can access this menu by pressing the 'Invite' option on the Quidditch Champions 'Play' tab or the 'Friends' select button, as pictured below. Use the 'Player Search' functionality to find them, followed by selecting their WB account name to invite them as friends or to a party.
Currently, most of the online game modes in Quidditch Champions let you play with up to three other players in teams of 3v3. For instance, in online multiplayer matches, you can switch between Chaser, Beater, and Keeper roles and, at times, the Seeker when the Snitch enters the field.
Handily, the Friends & Community menu also displays which players you've recently encountered in the magical sports game. This lets you add them as friends or invite them to a party quickly.
