Sandbox survival games often have cheat codes or commands that players can use to gain an advantage or tailor their experience to be more to their liking, and many players have probably heard about commands that could be used in Raft to do just that. Now that the game is out of early access and fully released, a lot of new Raft players are starting their adventure. They, as well as some returning players, may be wondering how to use these commands and cheat codes.

New and returning Raft players are in for a shock then, as the full release of Raft patched out all commands and cheats. This means that, without the use of mods or hacking, it is now impossible to use any of the cheat codes that players may have been familiar with. This is a somewhat odd choice for a game of this genre, but developer Redbeet Interactive has shown no signs of going back on this policy.

All Unusuable Raft Commands/Cheats

raft guides

For the sake of posterity, the following commands were all usable at some point during Raft's early access run. Although they won't work anymore in any official versions of the game, it may be possible to reinstate them via mods. Commands are split into three categories: Attribute Commands, Gameplay Commands, and Spawn Commands.

Attribute Commands

  • /set blockhealth x - Sets character health to 'x'.
  • /set bonushunger x - Adds 'x' hunger to character.
  • /set FPS x - Forces the game to run at 'x' FPS.
  • /set gamemode y - replace 'y' with a game mode to switch to that game mode.
  • /set hunger x - Sets character hunger to 'x'.
  • /set oxygen x - Sets character oxygen to 'x'.
  • /set thirst x - Sets character thirst to 'x'.

For each of these, players must input a number instead of "x" to complete the command (except /set gamemode).

Miscellaneous Commands

  • /clear x - Replace 'x' with an item or animal to clear all of that item or animal from the game world.
  • /godmode - Activates God Mode for the player.
  • /shift - Teleports the raft to the middle of the world.

Spawn Commands

  • /spawn boar
  • /spawn chicken
  • /spawn goat
  • /spawn landmark
  • /spawn landmark_big
  • /spawn landmark_pilot
  • /spawn landmark_raft
  • /spawn llama
  • /spawn pufferfish
  • /spawn shark

Spawn commands are fairly self explanatory: they summon the specified item or creature. Players should be careful when using them if they are playing in survival mode.

As a reminder, commands do not work in vanilla Raft anymore. These only work in the early access versions or with the help of mods.

Raft is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
