Another special advancement that should provide a lot more immersion is the addition of recorded vocal lines, and a new announcement from Atlus' social media team has revealed the actors who will be voicing those characters in the game's English-language track. At the forefront is the title character Raidou Kuzunoha XIV, a teenage paranormal detective with summoning powers. This role will be tackled by Stephen Fu, whose most popular work is possibly his English dub of young Cho Sang-Woo, the flashback version of the manipulative Squid Game character who had fans eagerly anticipating his death throughout the show's first season. Fu has an extensive history of providing voiceovers for games and anime as well, with recent highlights including Iron Fist in Marvel Rivals, Yue Jin in Dynasty Warriors: Origins, and Lance Crown in Mashle: Magic and Muscles.

Accompanying Raidou in his investigations is his catlike mentor, Gouto. This role will be filled by Ray Chase, another accomplished actor with more than 300 credits to his name. After getting his start as Gendo Ikari in Neon Genesis Evangelion, Chase has become a popular name in the credits of Square Enix games, playing several Final Fantasy characters, including 11 different appearances as Noctis Lucis Caelum.
Rounding out the top cast are Dawn M. Bennett (Elm Ederne and An Ren in RWBY) as journalist Tae Asakura, Kayli Mills (Emilia in Re: Zero - Starting Life in Another World) as mysterious high school student Kaya Daidoji, Chris Okawa (Exactor Dunmire in Lords of the Fallen) as real-life Russian mystic Grigori Rasputin, and Joe Zieja (Claude in Fire Emblem: Three Houses) as Super Soldier Project mastermind Munukata.
