One of the best operators in Rainbow Six Extraction, Ela, is available right away. Her special, the ability to place down paralytic mines that stun enemies for ten seconds (when leveled up) is more than enough time for squads to take down any vicious opponent in the game.

Plus, they recharge over time, so she doesn't need to hog the ability kits. To top it off, defense points are considered the hardest objectives and she can turn these points into walks in the park. To make her feel like the best Rainbow Six Extraction has to offer, she just needs the right equipment at her side.

Primary Weapon - Scorpion Evo 3 A1

  • Holographic Sights
  • Compensator
  • Angled Grip

There are solid reasons to amass much experience in as little time possible, but Ela has access to her best gun right off the bat. She has other options to unlock, but they all present problems compared to the Scorpion Evo 3 A1, especially as the weapon needed when things go south.

The FO-12 fires single shots, which is terrible for getting out of jams. The LMG-E is tough to aim and reloading in combat is basically a free kill for the aliens. And the M762 doesn't have the capacity or firing rate of the initial gun. Don't worry about making the Scorpion Evo 3 A1 quiet, the secondary weapon will cover that.

Secondary Weapon - RG15

  • Suppressor

Ela gets no options, even with full advancements, for her secondary weapon. Thankfully, the RG15 is a total beast, so players will never have to look jealously upon the other handguns operators are using. It's strong enough to kill enemies with a single hit to the weak spot.

The range is never an issue, even without a sight, it can hit across the largest rooms in the game with ease. Unless Ela is one of the operators in need of healing, Ela is an excellent choice for most missions since she's ready for stealth or full-on combat.

Explosive Tech - Paralysis Grenade

This pick might seem like too much of a good thing but the Paralysis Grenade is actually the perfect complement to the mines. For many points, the enemies will come in waves and after the first one trips the mine, there will be nothing to do against the next few that come from that direction.

The Paralysis Grenade probably needs a nerf, but Ela will certainly use it until that happens (if it does). An instant impact grenade that stuns all enemies in the area for five seconds is devastating to opponents that had previously hoped to get through to the objective. Ela is an operator that makes the most of upgrades, but she will eventually run out of mines, this is a perfect backup plan.

Gear - Revive Kit

The classic Revive Kit gets a bad reputation for being the choice of selfish players, but it's quite the opposite. Instead of expecting teammates to come and rescue Ela when she's in a jam, Ela can pick herself up and get to safety without endangering the team.

Of of the best features of being down but not out is the time period where Ela can shoot the enemies around her. Their attacks speed up the time until the REACT foam activates, but even amateur players can get three or more kills before needing to use the Revive Kit.

Rainbow Six Extraction was released on January 20th, 2022, and is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
