Fortnite's Paradigm skin returned to the game's shop for a short time, then vanished. Fortnite continues to grow an expansive market for its games, characters, and items. Although Fortnite doesn't follow a plot at the same pace that linear games like The Last of Us might, sometimes large developments do take place involving important characters.
One of these characters is The Paradigm. The Paradigm is a member of The Seven, a group of characters introduced to the game in Season 4. This was back in 2019, and although Fortnite was popular back then, it didn't have the same all-encompassing appeal it has now. The Seven was a group that was determined to protect Fortnite's Zero Point, and The Paradigm, its pilot, played a part in the creation of the map that was used in Chapter 4 of the game.

Shortly after that back-and-forth, the Fortnite team reversed its decision, sharing that fans can keep the skin. The rationale used echoes what the fans stated, emphasizing that the mistake was the team's, not the players'. Additionally, the V-Bucks spent on the purchase will be refunded. It seems ironic that this mistake and decision happened shortly after Fortnite announced a change to the exclusivity of future items.
