Ready or Not has 56 achievements to earn, and some of them are far harder to get than others. Below, we've compiled some of the hardest achievements to get in Ready or Not so that players will be aware of the trophies that might take the most time and skill to obtain. For the players who are brave enough to fight for these trophies, they will prove to the other officers that they're the veterans who demand the most respect.
1 I'm Too Old For This...
Complete the Game on Hard Difficulty
- Complete all base game missions on 'Hard' difficulty in any game mode
- Completion Rate on Steam: 0.1%
Hard difficulty is no joke, and players who attempt to complete every mission in this mode will suffer time and again. This mode tweaks the enemy's AI in many ways. Not only are there more enemies, but they have greater accuracy with their weapons, their damage output is greater, and they are less likely to surrender. It's like being back in early access, where every enemy seems to be an elite soldier. With traps in unexpected places on nearly every map and dense crowds of hard-hitting enemies, players are going to need to be extremely careful in every mission, and lethal force is most definitely advised.
2 Sleeper Agent
Complete the Game on Hard Difficulty
- During '3 Letter Triad', apprehend or incapacitate 15 suspects consecutively, within 15 seconds of one another on 'Standard' difficulty or higher
- Completion Rate on Steam: 0.3%
This achievement can only be obtained in the 3 Letter Triad mission, a DLC mission in the Dark Waters. While not needed for the platinum, it's still a hard achievement to earn. That is, until players check the wording. The mission needs you to incapacitate 15 suspects consecutively, and that's easier than you think. For this mission, it's easier to run with a group, but even solo players might be able to succeed. In order to get this achievement, players will want to run a lethal weapon of their choice and then target enemies in the chest and torso until they fall down. These enemies will be in an incapacitated state, which cannot be faked. Once all enemies have been incapacitated, run around and report 15 of them in 15 seconds.
3 Dress to Impress
Obtain All Base Game Customization Items
- Unlock all base game customization items
- Completion Rate on Steam: 0.5%
Dress to Impress is an achievement for the true collectors, as it requires players to obtain every single unlockable item found in the game. While most items can be unlocked simply by playing all missions, a majority of them do require specific ranks, like A Rank or S Rank. Following on from this, players will also need the rarest of all, a gold watch that requires a completion in Ironman Mode, which means no dying is allowed.
4 The Hermit
Complete All Missions in Ironman Mode without a Single Officer Dying
- Complete Ready or Not in 'Ironman mode' without losing a single officer on 'Standard' difficulty or higher
- Completion Rate on Steam: 0.8%
Ironman Mode is the elite mode that separates the recruits from the veterans, as Ironman Mode has one core rule: if you die, it's game over. This rule applies to you and your officers, and for The Hermit, players have to complete all missions without dying once, and even harder still, without a single officer dying as well. For the most part, players can simply try to solo everything by issuing a command to make their officers wait behind, but they can still get stressed out in missions and elect to resign. Since officers tend to get stressed out when you kill suspects, it's best to attempt this with incapacitations and non-lethal runs, but that just means it's going to be even harder to force enemies to surrender without wounding you and forcing you to Alt+F4 before the game's save file ends in death.
5 The World
Complete the Game on Ironman Mode
- Complete Ready or Not in 'Ironman mode' on 'Standard' difficulty or higher
- Completion Rate on Steam: 0.9%
The slightly easier version of the Ironman Mode achievement is The World, which just requires players to complete all missions, but they will not have to protect their fellow officers. Instead, players just need to complete all missions on their own terms, so feel free to use lethal rounds to take out all suspects in every mission. Since Ironman Mode means that death is permanent, rely on quick wit, patience, tactical gear, and the readiness to Alt+F4 if things go wrong.
6 Way Out West
Complete Rust Belt with Just the.357 Magnum
- Complete 'Rust Belt' using only the.357 Magnum as a weapon on 'Standard' difficulty or higher
- Completion Rate on Steam: 1.3%
Way Out West requires players to use the.357 Magnum only. This means that you cannot use tactical equipment like flashbangs and grenades, or your primary weapon. With that being the case, equip the heaviest armor you can, use all your loadout slots for ammunition in the.357 Magnum, and be prepared to kill a lot of suspects. The Rust Belt mission has a maze-like layout deep in a cavern system, so range is necessary. However, you can make it easier by using AI officers to clear ahead, so long as you manage to incapacitate or kill one suspect with the.357 Magnum.
7 Medal of Valor
Complete All Missions with an S Rank
- Complete all base game missions at S on 'Standard' difficulty or higher
- Completion Rate on Steam: 1.5%
Medal of Valor is an achievement that requires a complete non-lethal playthrough of the base game missions. The reason that players need to use the best non-lethal loadout is that an S Rank is only possible if players manage to make every suspect surrender. Killing or incapacitating any enemy will mean that players cannot get this achievement, so head in with your favorite non-lethal weapon, and equip your AI officers with the same, and start playing through each mission until you gain an S Rank in each and every one of them.
8 The Hanged Man
Complete Hide and Seek Using Only a Taser, Flashbangs, and Bash
- Complete 'Hide and Seek' using only a taser, flashbangs, and bash on 'Standard' difficulty or higher
- Completion Rate on Steam: 2.8%
Hide and Seek is the final mission, and it's a difficult one. There are over 24 suspects in Standard difficulty, and players are going to need to take them all out with just a taser and flashbangs. This also means no night vision, which can be a burden considering how dark the mission is. To get The Hanged Man achievement, players are not going to want to rely on the Taser, for it has a limited charge and really isn't great unless players are directly in front of a deadly enemy. Instead, fill your loadout with flashbangs to take out multiple enemies at once, and use AI officers to help you clear the area.
